Here at EFCN, our primary goal and desire is that all children, regardless of age or stage of development, know they are loved greatly by God! We endeavor to show all children God's great love for them through providing a safe place for children to engage with God through the stories of God that we encounter in the Bible, God's word to us. We believe in the importance and value of telling God's great love story to children well. We tell this story through interactive games, crafts, activities, free play, and relationships that children build with one another and adults who reflect God's love and care for them.
Year round we offer Children's Church at 8:30 am and 11 am. We strive to allow your child opportunities to engage in God's Word during these services through age appropriate classes. During this time, your child will receive an allergy-free snack, participate in offering praise and worship, hear the story that correlates to the adult service, play games and create something special that all have to do with the story. We also have opportunities for children to respond to God through prayer. Thank you for waiting patiently in the hallway if Children's Church is wrapping up after the adult worship service is over.
Year round we also offer Sunday School at 10 am. This is an hour of deeper Sunday morning study that your child may participate in. This is a great chance for your child to engage in more one on one activities with awesome teachers and their peers.
September through May we offer Wednesday night activities (WOW--Wild Outrageous Wednesdays) from 6 pm-8 pm. This is a great time for your child to participate in free time with peers, getting to know one another better. Around 6:30 pm we move into Praise and Worship time and Story, breaking up into small groups from 7 pm- 8 pm to engage in a variety of activities, pointing back to the evening's story and life application. We encourage your child to come by for the whole evening or to come and try a piece of it.
Stay tuned for information regarding our Summer Camps for all children entering 2nd grade-6th grade.
Throughout the year, we also have a variety of parties and other events that help our children learn about service, care for others, and experience God's Story in new and different ways. We hope to see you soon!
We are creating safe places for children. Because we believe that children learn best when they feel safe, it is our goal to create a safe environment for your child. When you are first greeted, you will be asked to fill out a guest welcome card. This helps us gain information that will help us best minister to your family. Your child will also receive a name tag that keeps vital information, such as allergies and medical conditions, close to our teachers. You will receive a copy of this name tag. If for any reason your child needs you during the service, his or her full birthdate will appear on the screen in the main Sanctuary building. In order to assure the safety of your child, you must return your copy of the name tag in order to retrieve your child at the end of service.
