I hope that these pages provide answers to your questions, both about what is going on and who we are.

The purpose of youth ministry is to give a place for our teens to come and discover, grow, experience and share their faith with others.  Everyone is invited to all of our weekly activities.

Upcoming Events

Sunday 9/5 - Labor Day Weekend.  Regular Sunday morning services (8:30 and 11:00) with Youth Sunday school at 10:00.  No Evening Services.

Wednesday 9/8 - No Wednesday Night Activities.

Friday 9/10 & Saturday 9/11 - Youth NYC Garage Sale.  This is geared towards helping those interested in attending NYC.2011.  The sale will be held at the Sachs' house from 10-4 on Friday and 8-4 on Saturday.  Come help, come shop.  If you are interested in attending NYC next summer here is a chance to raise some money.

This will be a great chance to invite friends, to connect with old ones and to proudly show off  the new look of the room.  The party will start at 3 and will get over one hour after the game is finished (about 8).  This will give parents plenty of time to get to whatever class party you may be attending.  See you there!

Wednesday 9/15 - Regular Wednesdays night activities resume at the church (6:00 - 8:00pm).  Dinner will be available for $3 each from 5:30 - 6:30.

Sunday 9/19 - Regular Sunday services (8:30 and 11:00) with Youth Sunday school at 10:00.  "The Converstaion" resumes for the fall at 6:00pm in the MP room.

If you haven't yet we need to have an updated medical travel form for each student and anyone under 18 who wants to go on trips out of town with the youth group.  2010 Parental Permission Formare available on the web and in upstairs in the youth room. 

So What do we have going on...

Sunday Morningsthe church worships together at 8:30 & 11:00a.m.  In between that, at 10:00a.m., we gather upstairs in the youth rooms and have Bible study and discussion for all 7th through 12th graders.

The Conversation happens every Sunday night at 6:00.  This is a high energy  service that is open to all.  Live worship, relevant messages, and a family/community feel that is designed specifically for teens, young adults and parents. 

Wednesday LIFE - this is a great chance in the middle of the week to get together and explore just how the Bible speaks to each of us as individuals should be and is being lived out in the lives of our students.  We meet each Wednesday upstairs at the church from 6-7pm for social time with friends followed from 7-8 with a time of discussion covering this week's readings and journal entries.  There will be time in the large group for teaching and training in reading God's Word plus a time of student led sharing in smaller groups of what you learned this week in your time reading the Bible. Teen Quizzing- This is a great way to get connected with others from the church and district while learning God's word and challenging yourself as you compete with others in monthly quiz meets. Quizzing will begin again in the fall. Quizzing is open to all 7th -12th grade students.  Practices will be every Sunday at 4:30 and Wednesdays at 6:00.

In addition to regular weekly events we have tons of other activities … concerts, retreats, camps, rafting, boating, skiing, community service projects, mission trips and lots of other happenings.
